home at last!

I'm back from Dragoncon! I had an absolute blast. All the panels I went to were fantastic. My Doctor Who gas mask zombie costume was a big hit. Doc Hammer from the Venture Bros. gave me a gold-painted William Shatner bobblehead (and Adam Savage signed it!). Darwyn Cooke told me I was pretty. Basically: nerdvana.

I took a bunch of pictures of non-costume outfits that I liked, with an eye towards doing some "fashion at Dragoncon" posts. Unfortunately, I lost the cord that connects my camera to my laptop, so it'll be a few days before a replacement arrives and I can get any pictures up. In the meantime, have some costume photos I really liked, though they're not taken by me:

    I love these costumes. Where is this festival, it's like early Halloween. OMG Does it take place in Canada?

    No, these are from Dragoncon, a sci-fi and fantasy convention in Atlanta, Georgia. I was just there this past weekend, and I'll have my own pictures up soon!
