Chicken scratch, for those who don't know, is another name for cross-stitch embroidery, done on gingham, It's usually done in the same colors at the fabric, and produces a really neat effect. Chicken scratch is very commonly found on vintage aprons, and I have slightly more of them that any human could ever possibly need.



Actually, that last one's just regular cross-stitch, not chicken scratch, but it's
really pretty cross-stitch, so we'll let it pass.
